After we "come get ya" we will set out for approximately five hours. The tour will include history, wildlife and area low country folklore. We will visit a Rice Plantation, a Haunted Graveyard, tour a 20th Century Castle and have lunch at Murrells Inlet, where Pirates were known to hang out.
We will be visiting Caledonia Golf and Fishing Club, originally a rice plantation where rice still grows wild. On this property you can see the original kitchen where the slaves cooked. See 500 year old Oak Trees draped with Spanish Moss.
Walk around a haunted graveyard, hear a tale of love lost, and see graves of Famous Plantation Owners of "The South".
A famous writer is buried there and a plantation owner that didn't believe in slavery.
Archer Huntington built a "moorish" castle in the 1930's for his bride Anna who was known for her life-like sculpture of animals. We will tour this amazing castle and see where Anna housed her subjects, such as bears, horses and even
monkeys.
